Journey’s Senior Pastor
James Brummett
James and his wife, Angie, have been married since 1991 and are the parents of four grown children, two of whom are married. They have a three-legged dog and three and a half cats (the cats weren’t his idea). Ordained in 1989, James has served four churches and has been the pastor of Journey since 2006.
His main responsibility is to make sure that Journey is well taught and well led. He does a majority of the preaching and is the primary communicator of Journey’s mission, vision, and values. Helping people follow Jesus, be changed by Jesus, and join the mission of Jesus is a central focus of James’ life and ministry. He looks forward to the return of Jesus and seeing him face-to-face and hopes you do, too.
