Local & Global Missions

Journey partners with organizations in our community and all over the world to bring the hope and love of Jesus to everyone. We encourage everyone who calls Journey their home church to get involved.

Local Missions

To connect people to service opportunities, Journey has formed ongoing relationships with nonprofits around our community. Our partner organizations focus on the homeless or near-homeless, at-risk women, men, and children and the food-insecure population in our area.

LIGHTHOUSE FAMILY RETREAT

We have been partnering with an organization called Lighthouse for several years. This organization’s main mission is to create wonderfully memorable retreats for families going through pediatric cancer at no cost to the family. In July 2026, we’ll be sending teams of “Family Partners” to the Emerald Isle, NC retreats. Family Partners are the lifeline of this mission. They care for the retreat families each and everyday during the trip. Family partners can be anyone; adults and kids. There are two weeks set aside for Journey volunteers. You can register now.

Retreat 13: June 28-July 4
 Retreat 17: July 12-18
