Support the Global Missions Teams!
This is a great opportunity for people who love Journey's Global outreach but aren't able to go on the mission trips.
The Journey Global Compassion team heading to Honduras in August would like a few creative thinkers to partner with them.
Journey's mission partner, His Eyes in Honduras, offers a daily program for children called The Milk Project. This program provides a safe place for children to get a good meal (often the only real meal the children get), get help with homework, and do some creative projects like sewing, arts and crafts, and more.
The team would like ideas on what they can do with the kids in this program. Ages range from 6-17 yrs old. Things like Bible story inspired plays & activities (think VBS), as well as arts and craft projects and field day games that don't require expensive materials (3 legged race, tire pull, etc). The Milk Project kids have seen a lot throughout the years, so we need to think outside the box and get really creative! Drop us an email if you'd like to get involved.
Journey Christian Academy
We want to hear from you!
We are launching a homeschool co-op in 2027 called Journey Academy! It's mission is to partner with families in providing Christ-centered, academically strong education that supports both learning and discipleship. As we continue building toward launch, we are gathering input from families and potential instructors to help us thoughtfully plan course offerings and structure in a way that best serves our community. We appreciate you taking a few minutes to share your interest and perspective.
