He could hardly believe his ears when the voice on the other end declared, “I’m the woman your dad is having an affair with.” Those were the words that shattered Jared’s world as a fourteen year old. His dad denied the accusations, but within a year’s time, he had abandoned the family. But Jared didn’t give up. He stepped into the ring and fought to maintain a relationship with his dad. And along the way he realized what it really meant to honor his father.
