Choosing Christmas

The Christmas message exposes a harsh reality that we have difficulty accepting: we need a savior. Jesus didn’t come to “help us out,” he came to rescue us. While this is true in respect to our sin and to our eternal destiny, it is also true of our daily experience. We each bump up against things in life that are totally out of our control and which are much bigger than our ability to fix. Thankfully, Jesus has a great track record of saving that which is surrendered to him. The question is, are you willing to turn to him as your savior both for this life and the one to come?
