We love helping you raise great kids! We are providing an online Waumba Land experience for your child each Sunday morning.
For Parents and Guardians
- You got this! Kids learn best with lots of fun activity. So have fun!
- A normal attention span is 3 to 5 minutes per year of a child’s age. A 2-year-old may be able to concentrate on a particular task for at least 5-6 minutes.
- Make time for it. Pick a consistent time during the week to have fun learning about Jesus with your kids.
This Week’s Online Experience
Bible Story Focus: I spy someone who made everything!
Key Question: Who can believe in Jesus?
Bottom Line: I can believe in Jesus!
Let’s make a collage of the fabulous things God made! Gather some paper, crayons, old magazines (printouts from computer of plants, animals, people, etc), scissors, and glue sticks. Look through the magazines or printouts with your child and find things God has made. Work together to create a collage by helping your child cut out and glue the pictures on the paper. You can also draw your own pictures! Hang the collage where you can see it this week so you can talk about all the things God made. Remind your child that everywhere we look, we spy things God made! Paul told the people in Athens that God made the world and that God made people-including you! Paul told the people about Jesus so they could believe in Him. Jesus wants to be our friend forever.
Who can believe in Jesus? I can believe in Jesus!
“Dear God, there is no one else like You. Only You could make the whole world and everything in it. Only You could make people. Only You could make all of space and the stars, sun, moon, and planets. You are AMAZING, GOD! We want to thank You for all of the amazing things You made. And most of all, thank You for loving us so much that You gave us Jesus. We love You, God. In Jesus’ name, Amen.”
