Young adult ladies, join 1830 for a Galentines gathering on Friday February 11th from 6-8pm at the Journey campus. You won’t want to miss this slumber party themed night with pizza, cupcakes, board games and good company. Don’t forget to bring a pair of cute socks for the sock exchange!

Free Time for Me is a caregiver support group with the emphasis on “ME”, the caregiver. This is an open group helping caregivers find hope in what sometimes feels like a hopeless situation.

Starting Point is a conversational environment where people can explore faith and experience community. Starting Point groups are a safe place for people with questions about faith as well as those who want to learn about the Bible and Christianity. Groups meet here at the Journey campus for 5 weeks and explore the Bible’s story while helping one another find their place in it.

Vertical Reality (VR) is a weekend event for students 6 – 12th grade. Students from all over the city will gather for 3 amazing large group sessions, a fun after-party, small group excursions, and more! Registration has closed. If you have questions about VR please email [email protected].

We want to partner with you and your child as they begin their journey of faith. We want to equip you with tools to invite and lead your child into a growing relationship with Jesus Christ. Jump Start is a 20-minute presentation for parents/guardians and 4th & 5th grade kids learn what it means to have a personal relationship with Jesus. It’s designed to help parents “jump-start” a conversation about faith. Dinner will be provided. RSVP using this LINK.
Raising a middle schooler is tricky, and we’re not experts but we get it! That’s why we have Test Drive. Test Drive is designed to help parents navigate the waters of the middle school phase. This year at Test Drive parents will have the chance to have a discussion with staff and other ministry leaders about the mind of a middle schooler, the middle school phase, and what we do in Transit to help prepare students for what’s next.

This was rescheduled from May to June…
Join the Journey Hiking Interest group on Saturday, June 25 as they venture to Stony Man Loop Trail just outside of Charlottesville, VA. Hikers will meet up at Journey’s parking lot and carpool together. This is an easy hike that leads to beautiful views from the summit of Shenandoah’s second-highest mountain. The 3.3-mile (round trip) trail near Syria, VA gains just 400 feet of elevation from the parking area to the summit. Click HERE to sign up!
