When a new group forms the members arrive at the group with various expectations. For some, to meet new friends or meet like-minded people. Others seek to grow in their faith and learn more about God. Many groups find themselves stuck trying to prioritize between relational connections and spiritual growth. “Jumpstarting Relational Connection”
This breakout focuses on the questions that many people bring to their new group experience such as what kind of people are going to be in this group? What will they expect of me? Is it safe to be myself? A new group has a window of about 3-5 weeks to establish an atmosphere where strangers can become friends. In this breakout our panel will discuss their own best practices to jump starting relational connections in community groups.
